Safety at DioriteUpdated every release
An AI partner in the mountains carries real responsibility. This is how we design, test and release Diorite, who checks our work, and the lines it will never cross.

Diorite is not an emergency service. In an emergency, contact local rescue first.
Not a slogan on a wall. Each one changes what you actually see when you open a plan.

Saying “not sure” is a feature. When the data is thin, Diorite lowers its confidence instead of guessing.

I joined because I was tired of apps that make every day look like a summit day. My job here is simple: say no until the answer is honest.

Whatever the model, the release or the business plan, Diorite will never:
Mountains are never safe, only more or less risky. Diorite talks in hazard, exposure and margin.
When data is thin or stale, the brief says so in plain words and lowers its confidence.
No timers to beat, no streaks, no leaderboards. Turning around is always a valid outcome.
It is not a guide, an avalanche course or a forecast center, and it links back to them.
Your location and trip plans are never sold, and never used to train AI models.
